A little update from Jill!

Josh and Michelle went up to the condos today to drain the hot tubs and get them ready for next weekend!!  Do not forget to bring your suits and towels so you can sit in the hot tubs!  Michelle said there is a skiff of snow still on the ground.  She also said that if you were hiking in the middle of the day that you would want shorts or capris on but at night you will want long pants and a jacket.  The condos have heaters so as long as you are inside you will not need to worry but if you want to be outside you might want jackets!

Gramma bought some craft things for the kids that look like fun.  The two condos sit side by side with the garages in the middle.  We will be using the garages for things like the crafts and to keep the drinks and treats in.  We might even do some food serving in them.  We have made the menu and made a shopping list.  On Monday, Kjirsten and Gramma and I are going to Costco to get all the food that can be bought ahead.  I think it is going to be quite a bit of work for sure!!  We will go back on Thursday and get all the fresh food.  I think we have some good food planned.  On the original paper that Gramma sent it tells you what each meal is.  I will write up a menu and schedule and post it in each condo.  Each person has an assignment for cooking a meal but all of the food and everything needed to make it will be there for you.

When you are planning on how much you need to bring for drinks, remember that it is a high altitude so you will need more to drink than normal.  If you do not drink enough you will get altitude sickness which is a headache and throwing up.  As long as you drink enough you do not have to worry about that!!!  We will have ice chests there with ice and will be putting the drinks that everyone brings into them.  It will be fair game so that everyone will drink what ever they want.  If you are bringing something that you do not want to share you can keep it in your room.  We have done this before and it works out pretty good.  Water seems to be the most popular drink but soda and juices are also fun.

If you have any questions about anything you can send me or Kjirsten and email.  We can probably find out the answer.   Gramma has been working very hard and spent lots of money to make this a fun reunion for all of us.  Come prepared to relax, get to know one another and have a great time.  Jill
